Antonio Torregrosa is the Managing Director of Fundacion Valenciaport, the innovation, training and international cooperation centre of the Port of Valencia. He coordinates a team of 60 people specialized in the development of research and consultancy projects aimed at improving the efficiency of port systems through innovation and technology.

He is also the Chairman of Seaport Solutions, a start-up that offers an IT solution from the family of PortCDM (Collaborative Decision Making) systems to optimize port call processes based on automated real-time information exchange among the port stakeholders.

Torregrosa has a degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of Valencia. He also holds a Masters degree in International Trade Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management.

He has 25 years of experience in the field of international trade, logistics and ports, having held various positions as a research technician, project director and manager at the Institute of International Economics of the University of Valencia and the Fundacion Valenciaport.
