Upon graduation from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jost began his career as a Research and Development Engineer with Maschinenfabrik Kurt Neubauer GmbH & Co. He then transitioned to client-focused positions with Erich Rottmann Technik GmbH, Konecranes, TMEIC and Kalmar, where he was focused on creating optimum solutions for container ports and terminals.

Jost focuses on assisting TMEIC’s clients in identifying the appropriate crane control and automation solutions to ensure their facility upgrades keep them competitive in the market well into the future.
