It is an undisputed fact that shipping logistics are undergoing profound evolution. The attention of port operators and shipping companies is markedly focused on maximizing the automation and digitization of operations linked to the transport and handling of containers. Much has already been done, leading technological companies produced automation solutions which improved the operators operability and safety. However, there are still large areas to be improved.

The ARMS team, based on its decades of experience in the management of operations in container terminals and on ships, has identified in the management of operational area of refrigerated containers storage, which in the last 50 years is still managed manually by port personnel and ship crews, an environment in need of major transformation.

In last two years, thanks to the support of our industrial partners SCAME, CROUZET, Nuova ICOM, IDENTEC we have been able to design and build suitable dedicated automation systems.
